Ayongwi

AyongwiAyongwi is 31 years old, and moved to the U.S. from Cameroon in July 2012. He has 15 siblings from two mothers; one of his brothers lived in Kansas City, Kan., but died in an accident in 2010, just four months before he was to graduate from the pharmacy program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In tribute to his late brother, Ayongwi enrolled at Kansas City Kansas Community College and graduated in May 2015; he has been admitted to the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy’s four-year program and will begin in Fall 2015 with a graduation target of May 2019. His ultimate goal is to create a charity in Cameroon to help children and the elderly with health services, schools, and career training.
